Colour Creations: Pear Pizzazz

 Hi!

Hello, and welcome to Pear Pizzazz week of the Colour Creations blog hops. Pear Pizzazz is in the Subtle Family collection and is a bit of a so-so green. I don't love it, but I don't hate it, either.

I decided to pull out my Plentiful Plants bundle to play with, and to use some of the plant stamps that hadn't seen ink yet. I paired it with Sweet Strawberry for the sentiments and the Stitched Greenery Die for the background.

I don't know what this plant is called in real life, but in my head it's become the Brian May plant. It reminds me so much of his hair, and that's all I can see now!

I actually created the inside of the card before I'd finished the front. In hindsight, I wish I'd stamped the Brian May plant again on the Whisper White base, as I did on the front, to extend the height of the plant. Next time!

Speaking of next, the next stop in our Blog Hop belongs to Michele Taylor. Jump on over to her blog to see what is sure to be a fabulous card.

And don't forget that Cathy Proctor is here to save the day if you run into any problems. She's got a list of all participants in case of an emergency 😉

Bye for now,

Tina

  1. Tina, snap on the stitched greenery die – all that white really makes the Pear Pizzazz the hero of your card. Pear Pizzazz is the perfect colour for your String of Pearls Succulent plant (Senecio rowleyanus) AKA "the Brian May" plant for ever more!

  7. Brian May plant LOL, that's hilarious!!! I love the amount of white on this card, and the Stitched Greenery background always adds gorgeous texture. The white stitched circle is perfect under your lovely plant in its galvanised tin pot. Beautiful card.

  9. Tina your card is subtle and absolutely stunning. The Stitched Greenery die makes the perfect backdrop for your circular focal point and thin strip of Pear Pizzazz.
