Teacher and Neighbour Christmas Gifts

Hi!

I know Christmas is well and truly over for the next year, but I haven't shown you the quick and easy gifts I threw together for the kid's teachers and our neighbours.

I used Kraft Gift Boxes as the base of the gift. At $4.95 for 4 boxes they are a cheap alternative to making your own.  They are a lovely heavy weight cardstock, stamp beautifully and are easy to dress up or down, depending on the occasion.

I decorated mine using a strip of DSP from the Be Of Good Cheer pack and then finished it off by wrapping some Scalloped Tulle Ribbon around the box and tying a bow.

So what did I put in the boxes? The teachers got chocolates and the neighbours got Snickerdoodle biscuits.

Time is running out for you to purchase from the Holiday Catalogue - you only have until the end of the month so get in quick if there's something you just have to have from the catalogue and haven't already purchased!

Bye for now,

Tina

A Christmas CASE

Hi!

Today I have a card for you that I made as a sample for my stamping ladies. It was a CASE of myself again, based on this card made for a Festive Friday challenge.

I love the twinkly paper from the Be Of Good Cheer DSP pack.

Bye for now,

Tina

Cherry Cobbler Tulle Christmas Card

Hi!

I have another Christmas card for you today.  Are your thoughts turning towards Christmas yet?  I have been steadily building up my Christmas card stash over the year, so I'm well prepared in that area.  Wish I could say the same about the rest of my Christmas planning!

This was one of the cards made by the attendees at my recent New Catalogue Launch Party.  Everyone was amazed at how soft the Tulle Ribbon actually is - not all hard and scratchy like we all remember tulle to be!

Using a 2 1/2" Circle punchie of Multipurpose adhesive sheet, we folded the ribbon in half and then gathered it, sticking it to the adhesive punchie as we went.  It makes handling the ribbon to pleat it and then sticking it to the card so much easier!  A same sized punchie of Silver Glimmer Paper hides the adhesive sheet and provides a little 'nest' for the ornament.

Love this stamp for Christmas sentiments!

Stamps: Heart Of Christmas, Ornament Keepsakes
Ink: Gumball Green
DSP/Cardstock: Be Of Good Cheer DSP, Silver Glimmer Paper, Naturals White, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Other: Big Shot, Holiday Ornaments Framelits, Cherry Cobbler 3 1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

Bye for now,

Tina
