Papillion Potpourri Tag

Hi!

A quick post today, as I missed posting yesterday and I'm flat out today.  Phew!

I made this tag as a second Make and Take project for a party a few months ago.  The party was quite large and I wanted a second project to keep everyone busy and not waiting around for supplies to be passed around the table.  It uses a few retired products and colours, but I thought I'd post it anyway as it's so cute, and a really quick and easy project to put together.

It's a bit hard to see, but the tag was embossed with the retired frames embossing folders. The Oval punchie fit perfectly inside the embossing.  We also used the Mosaic and Butterfly punches to create the layers.  The Papillion Potpourri stamp set is a lovely one and I sold a few that night!

Heartfelt Event Inspiration Board

Hi!

As promised, I'm back with some more photos from Stampin' Up!'s recent Heartfelt Event in Melbourne.  One change this year was that instead of making swaps we were asked to make just one card to put on an Inspiration Board for everyone to see.  It made a lot of sense to me, given how close we are to the start of a new Annual Catalogue.  It also appealed as I was so time-poor in the lead up to the event that I just wouldn't have had time to make swaps anyway - one was just perfect.

Well, I actually made three of these cards.  One for the Inspiration Board and the other two for two very special friends.  One was a (very) belated birthday card for Sue and the other was an early birthday card for Christine.

I kept the inside as CAS as the outside.  I used Naturals Ivory as my cardstock base.  It has a lovely weight to it, and the flecks through it help to 'fill' all the white space on the card without being overwhelming.

Attic Boutique Card

Hi!

There's not long left to purchase items from the current Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue, as it finishes at the end of the month.  There's some things I'll really miss from it, but I won't find out for a little while yet if they will find their way into the next Annual Catalogue.  If you don't want to miss out, you'd best get in quick!  Today's card uses quite a few products from the Mini Catalogue.

This was a card I made as a sample for my monthly ladies when the Mini first came out.  There are quite a few runs through the Big Shot with this one!

I quite like the doily paper in the pack, and it provided a pretty background for the sentiment panel.

December Thank You Tags

Hi!

I always like to make a little thank you for my customers who place an order.  Last month I decided to make a little tag using the Designer Frames Embossing Folders.

I trimmed the Island Indigo cardstock into a tag shape and then ran it through the Big Shot in the Embossing folder.   I then cut an insert to size and attached the butterfly.

I didn't photograph the back as I'd already written on all the tags.  I adhered a Decorative Label punchie with just a little bit of adhesive so that the customer could remove the punchie and reuse the tag.
