Dreams De Jour Slider Card

Hi!

Well I'm back as promised, just a little later than I expected.  The card I'm showing you tonight was designed by Gardenia for the current UStamp round.  She designed a cute little baby card, but I decided to make mine a birthday card.

Here's the card with the slider section all the way in:

And here it is with the slider section pulled out:

And finally, the inside of the card.  I hope you can see the butterflies stamped in Blushing Bride along the left side of the insert.

I used two of the new In Colours Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz and paired them with Basic Grey.  Such a pretty combination.

Stamps: Dreams De Jour, Best Yet (retired hostess)
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride, Rose Red, Black Stazon
DSP/Card Stock: Blushing Bride Hostess DSP, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Grey, Whisper White
Other: Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon, Scallop Edge Border Punch, 3/4" Circle XL Punch, Rhinestone Brad, Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Dimensionals, Slot Punch (retired)

Catch you later,

Tina

Swinging Stampin' Royalty

Hi

I'm back again with another card from the latest UStamp round.  The swing card was designed by Kathryn Mangelsdorf for Ustamp and I used the colour combination from the latest Stampin' Royalty challenge.  Here's the colour combo:

Here's the card I came up with:

Another view, this time open and from the front:

And finally open, but from the back, which is where you write your message:

Isn't it a cute little card?  I quite like the swing card, and can see myself making lots more!

Stamps: Razzle Dazzle, Perfect Punches, Baroque Motifs
Ink: Concord Crush, So Saffron
Card Stock: So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Concord Crush, Whisper White
Other: Rhinestones, 1/4" Tempting Turquoise Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), Scallop Edge Border Punch, 2" x 1 3/8" (Wide) Oval XL Punch, Stamp Positioner, Glue Dots

Catch you later - I'll be back tomorrow with another super cute UStamp card.

Pop Up Dasher

Hi!

I was lucky enough to win a free pass to the current UStamp with Dawn round, which was about cards with cool moves.  Thanks so much to Kathryn Mangelsdorf for the chance for the free pass.  She currently has another free pass up for grabs on her blog for the next round - Get a Jump Start on your Jingle - so pop on over for your chance to win.

The first card I tried is a free standing pop up card by Gilda Fellows.  I've always wanted to try one of these, so this was the perfect opportunity!

I think I cut the slot for the pop up section a bit too wide, but otherwise I was pretty happy with how this turned out.

The new satin ribbon is perfect for the front of the base, and I'm totally loving the new Jolly Holiday DSP.

Stamps: Dasher, Snow Swirled
Ink: Old Olive
DSP/Card Stock: Jolly Holiday DSP, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Old Olive
Other: Scallop Oval XL Punch, 2" x 1 3/8" (Wide) Oval XL Punch, Scallop Edge Border Punch, 5/8" Old Olive Satin Ribbon

Catch you later,

Tina.
