A UFO?

Hi!

No, I'm not sharing blurry pictures of strange lights in the sky! In the crafting world a UFO is an UnFinished Object!  In this case, while tidying my desk I came across a stamped image that I'd coloured and then set aside to finish later, and well, later took a long time to come around!

I really love the Two By Two stamp, and was a little sad when it retired.  I was excited to find out I could purchase it as an MDS Download though, so it never really retires.

Don't ask me which colours I used, I can't remember now!  I do know that I stamped with Stazon on wartercolour paper and coloured it using my Stampin' Write Markers and Blender Pen. I coloured this so long ago it was before we had our range of Blendabilities!

Do you have many UFO's lying around on your craft desk?  I have quite a few! Hopefully they will become FO's in the near future!

Bye for now,

Tina

Farewell Two By Two

Hi!

This farewell is a bit of a sad one for me, as Two By Two is one of my all time favourite baby stamps.  I was cheered to realise though that it can be bought as a download for My Digital Studio, so in one sense it will never retire.  Yay!

Keeping with the theme, lol, I have also used more of the retiring Print Poetry DSP Stack paper on the card.  I kept the card fairly simple as I wanted the coloured panel to be the hero of the card.

In the past when I've coloured this image I've always used realistic colours.  This time I decided to make it look like a boat full of teddies so I used lots of bright colours. As the card was for a girl I kept it to a girlier palette.

Flags are really on trend right now, so I used a few scraps of DSP to create some flags on the inside.

Stamps: Two by Two, Sweet Essentials
Ink: Black Stazon, Raspberry Ripple, Island Indigo, Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Marina Mist
DSP/Cardstock: Print Poetry DSP Stack, Watercolour Paper, Very Vanilla, Gumball Green
Other: Big Shot, Ovals Collection Framelits, Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon, Dimensionals, Blender Pen

Bye for now,

Two By Two

Hi!

Is colouring stamped images something you enjoy doing? I certainly do, and find it very relaxing.  Last week my 2 eldest children had a friend each to sleep over at our house, and so while they were watching a movie together I sat at the kitchen table with my markers and blender pen and coloured this cute Noah's Ark image.

Isn't it a gorgeous image?  It's the new Two By Two stamp and is found in the Annual Catalogue.  As soon as I saw it I just HAD to have it!  The image sat coloured on my desk for a week before I turned it onto a card.

I used my new Window Frame Framelits to cut out the image and the matt, and also my new paper piercing tools to help create the faux stitching around the image and outside of the card.

Some embossed polka dots on the inside to match the outside.  I don't have anyone to give this card to just yet, so it will just have to wait in my stash for a special occasion.

Stamps: Two By Two, A Word For You
Ink: Black Stazon, Chocolate Chip, Pacific Point, Marina Mist, So Saffron, More Mustard, Soft Suede, Basic Grey, Daffodil Delight, Rose Red, White Signo Gel Pen
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Whisper White, Watercolour Paper
Other: Big Shot, Window Frames Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Basic Jewels Rhinestones, Paper Piercer, Mat and Templates, Chocolate Chip Scallop Edge Ribbon, Dimensionals, Blender Pen

Bye for now,

Tina
