JAI #473: Just Choose Two

Hi!

Yay, time for the new Just Add Ink challenge! This week Nikki has challenged us to Just Choose Two.

Which two will you choose? I went for Metallics and Washi on my card. Ada had been invited to a birthday party for one of her besties, and the request for the card was a particular movie franchise set in space that was popular in the 70's, but has seen a resurgence in the past decade or so. Luckily, I had just the stamps thanks to Kindred Stamps.

The stamp set is called Galactic Adventures: The Sequel and features a mix of characters from both the original movies (the best ones!) and the contemporary movies.

Now, you may be looking at my card and thinking - where's the washi? Would you believe that the entire space background is washi??? It is! It's from Altenew and is called Galaxy Washi Tape. It's super wide, so that it fills the width of the card. The image is the Milky Way, and it's perfect for any space themed cards.

My little robot didn't take much to colour. I mostly used a gold and silver sharpie maker, with a touch of blue. Done! The letters were cut from Golf Foil and then run through my Big Shot using the Subtle Embossing Folder. I used a punched vellum circle to ground the elements without covering the cool Galaxy Washi too much.

Ada chose the image and sentiment for the inside. She likes joking around with her friend, so she thought it was very suitable!

Time to pop on over to the Just Add Ink blog, where you can see the rest of this week's Design Team cards. We've all had a lot of fun choosing our two - which two will you choose?

Bye for now,

Tina
