Hi!
Wow, welcome to the first of the new series of Colour Creations Blog Hops. We are back to the beginning, starting with the new 2024-2026 In Colours. This week we are featuring Peach Pie, a soft orange that I think I will grow to like!
I nearly wasn't able to participate tonight, as I hadn't ordered any of the In Colour products from the new Annual Catalogue. Thankfully, my wonderful friend, Andrea Sargent came to my rescue and gave me some things to use. I received a lovely little pack of cardstock, DSP and the loan of an inkpad. Isn't she fabulous?
I put it to good use on my card, using both the In Colour DSP and the Unbounded Beauty DSP on my card. I love those Petunia Pop stripes with Peach Pie, and how they pick up the pink in the floral DSP. You'll have to forgive my use of a now retired stamp set, I don't have any sentiment stamps left that were suitable.
Nice and simple on the inside, and the card is done! Would you believe that I made this card yesterday, and not in 15 minutes after getting home this afternoon and realising I still need to make a card? LOL!
This next stop on tonight's blog hop is the lovely Michele Taylor. I always enjoy seeing what she's made, and I'm sure that you will too.
If, at any point, you find a broken link, or you just get lost, pop on over to our lovely hostess, Cathy Proctor's blog. She will have a list of all of tonight's participants to help get you back on track.
Bye for now,
Tina
Lovely card Tina, Petunia Pop looks great with Peach Pie. Thank goodness for friends with paper packs :)
ReplyDeleteHooray for crafty friends, coming to the rescue! These new papers are just gorgeous, and your card is delightful, Tina. I'm not generally a fan of orange, but I LOVE Peach Pie!
ReplyDeleteI love your combination of DSPs. Peach Pie - two ways - with the Petunia Pop stripes works so well. A gorgeous card Tina. Beautiful inside and out. xxx
