CTC 370: CASE A Mini Bundle Project

 Hi!

Welcome back to the new CASEing The Catty Sunday Challenge Blog Hop. This week we are jumping back to the Mini Catalogue to CASE a project from the Bundles Section.

Hmm, a bit of a tough choice, but I eventually settled on this rainbow card from page 82. I liked the subtle background stamping, and that not all of the rainbows have colour.

I don't actually own the rainbow bundle, but that's half the fun of CASEing a project - using the products that you do have to CASE a project.  I haven't used my Beautiful Shapes dies very much, so I decided to pull them out for my card.

I love the way that the hexagons and diamond shapes layer to create the multi-colour hexies. They kind of remind me of quilting!

I paired the dies with my Biggest Wish stamp set. I thought that it was a good option for the bold sentiment, and as a bonus it has the lovely little crosses stamp that was perfect for the background stamping.

A little more stamping on the inside and I was done!

Your part in the challenge is just beginning, though! Please join us in our challenge by posting a card in our Facebook group before next Sunday's blog hop. We'd love to see which bundle project caught your eye.

Before you dash off to get inky, please do finish our blog hop. Just keep on hopping until you get back to where you started. The next cab off the rank is the lovely Peta Stephen with a super-sweet CASE.

Bye for now,

Tina

Great substitution of dies. The hexagons look great with the coloured diamond pieces to make them look like cubes. Great card

  2. Totally perfect. What a great card - love the use of the geometric shapes - that is something I really struggle with and you make it look so easy!! Great colours too.
