It's a bright, happy red that is my most used red. I was a bit time poor this week, and I had visions of doing a quick and simple card. Sigh. I used my Mini Alphabet Dies to cut the sentiment, and thanks to the doubled up letters on the die, I cut all that I needed in one pass through my Big Shot. Yay! The drill DSP was roughly cut, adhered to a piece of Thick Whisper White card and then fussy cut once dry. As I was popping it up over the Everyday Details die cut, the extra layer of cardstock helps to prevent sagging.</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2TGwZ43a3cAqF1CdJON52cvYExVmE7gWtYFjQd1IjJ9uoX96So9bB2Vu7BN8j2FG85J1udx-oa9J3OAVpJD3d5-LKrO5kn-yTf_UIc8MVZPSTDvcNOcFsN9BnSB97wQK2ePAZHnxAApw5RXiUoiXwX7abjH9anFVy5jFNSVYU795kISXifOWCcUBDbvh_/s3024/Poppy%20Parade%20Card%20Inside.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="scissorspapercard, Colour Creations, Stampin' Up! Are you a fan of the soft, peachy pink? I am not! I much prefer a pinker pink, LOL! I did have fun playing with Petal Pink ink this week, though. My first SAB order arrived, and I had full intentions of making a card using my Lighter Than Air DSP, but I got completely sidetracked by my Paper Butterfly Accents.</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpu5YkDqYFp2p6QG5keA0pN_Oz6zG4w5qbd4Bkl_WdaRrUJBbxNh4FK07RV6aLSpGPuRSqepxdGuYi12E4uDYKSmeTH_r6v36YKiwAKKDvtPTH27qLjgHqatlHQ-nrPn5H1Fuz2hXNu3wxILxkYm5Vl84gh-WYyWwyljAV55uBSlRw7U991STh2wRfuAhf/s3024/Petal%20Party%20Card.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="scissorspapercard, Colour Creations, Stampin' Up! Hopefully the colours make you think of a sunset or sunrise. I used Petal Pink along the edge of the mask, with Pumpkin Pie along the top of the pink - just soft layers that blended nicely. The butterflies were popped up over the top using Dimensionals. Can you spot another new product? The Mini Alphabet dies are so cute. I love the chunky font.</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUhdCZkzCmD_BR5AkohSCkfrIpNaWz2LzE5Y40wdqlmrLCKhYMXdT72zu4Bd2PFyruKjABI6rUsJEjc0G1IP34WOtl3vngH0zFClQQwfvYF-RuPM59YLHBCgg6bp8YGVYzXpVMhyphenhyphenO_RST2SEextTnZjSacdJGNEybEgM8KdWmVyaJyeUrosTbZF7f4OQ_i/s3024/Petal%20Party%20Card%20Inside.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="scissorspapercard, Colour Creations, Stampin' Up! This week we are feating Old Olive. I really struggled with this, as it's more of a 'supporting actor' colour to me than a 'leading actor' colour. I stamped the bunny on the largest Nested Essentials Dies rectangle die cut using Memento ink. I also masked her bottom so that I could stamp some grass around her. I used the second smallest rectangle die to crop the sentiment. I ran it through twice, shifting the die in-between, so that I ended up with. smaller label.</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDjB6kNGI_yVNCkceh3w2CLXBFtpNqR58whk5-KcmaQWlIJGmyQw673EqkZuhlHWl5pB9c5AYVaWv4orS4pUKr1hdNW0NhuYJXZFuUw-uxZM58jurpNAW7swrcZoXNpbf-fY1fctXwcjdXG-Q3OqyRM2kkOfx9aMjRbM2ettfUaFlIVo2X5b3crcILH0pv/s3024/Old%20Olive%20Card%20Detail.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="scissorspapercard, Colour Creations, Stampin' Up! Never fear, we will be back in 2024 with the rest of the colours in the Stampin' Up! range. For tonight, though, our focus is on Misty Moonlight. It's a gorgeous denim blue that I adore!</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnTRDECafecUimryfEnvZN0jO8Hs8w1uBNiazrHK2HnzsyjsF0HTKain8eaAnDntAy09uCHqDd8O5qkzbQo4cUo-bO13cTwRRGbUhtkhdvlYURyV4Ks8wbyFcd79poIwe09krsQyj_V18idDKTcXVFcp0TXrNMyj61zjU6lUeO3-C59PoQbl4bnfb6gpyF/s3024/Misty%20Moonlight%20Card.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="scissorspapercard, Colour Creations, Stampin' Up! I started by heat embossing the large sentiment from Joy To You using White Embossing Powder. I then used a Blending Brush to ink the edges of the card with Misty Moonlight ink. Finally, I splattered some (retired) Frost White Shimmer Paint over the top of the card, trying to stick mostly to the edges. It has a mind of it's own, though - the splatter goes where it wants to go, LOL!!</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWPS1YRUKdPWTe-cpnr5xHN22tRoU5_0eDa7UUoUNxWJZowg7Uc7hcGl3bbkf9gqNLsabH9ji5p4DrG__LOgOOFNGoIOdMZ9Sh4rin4vOz96wNJvWKGfuL3SS8_S4kFljadng2yocjYYT63cO7lck8waIM-xXga68GOqu83uc53s9WOH3vIMud9aqjAZI1/s3024/Misty%20Moonlight%20Card%20Inside.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="scissorspapercard, Colour Creations, Stampin' Up!
