JAI #182: Just Add Frames

I hope everyone has had a fantastic week.  It's Friday, the weekend is within reach, and it's time for another Just Add Ink Challenge.

This week Paula has challenged us to add a frame to our creation. You can interpret this any way you'd like.  You could add a frame to a card, or decorate a photo frame, what ever you can think of!

My first thought was to create a polaroid style frame as a focal point on my card. It works really well with the photo paper in the I Am Me DSP pack.

I used my new Squares Collection Framelits to cut the inner section of the frame - so much more precise and easier than trying to do it with my trimmer.

I used a little leftover strip of the DSP on the inside.

Stamps: Happy Day, Sassy Salutations
Ink: Pool Party
DSP/Cardstock: I Am Me DSP, Real Red, Pool Party, Whisper White
Other: Big Shot, Squares Collection Framelits, Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Full Heart Punch, Small Heart Punch, Rhinestones, Dimensionals

I hope you can play along with us this week at Just Add Ink.

Bye for now,

  1. This is such a bold, bright, fun card Tina. I love the Polaroid frame idea. The DSP was made for it!!

  2. That sentiment is just perfect for such a bright happy (camera covered) card Tina. It makes me smile that's for sure! xxx

  3. Great thinking, Tina; this happy, fun, card would bring a smile to anyone's face.

  4. Love your polaroid style frame Tina and how it coordinates so well with the lovely bright DSP you chose to use as well.
