Layout 20: Cockington Green

Hi!

Today's layout is one I made as a sample for a scrapbooking class I am teaching soon.  I wanted a simple layout that beginners would fell comfortable with, but that could be easily ramped up a bit for more experienced or confident scrappers.  I used Love Letter DSP for the layout.

I cut a 9 inch square out of the centre of the Riding Hood Red sheet of DSP and then tore around the opening.  I cut each of my photos to about 4 inches square, matted then in Very Vanilla and then mounted them on a square of Basic Black Love Letter DSP.  This piece was then adhered to the back of the Riding Hood Red DSP.

A bit of ribbon and some Hodgepodge Hardware and the layout is almost done.  I included the tickets from the train ride as a feature item.  Unusually for me, this layout does not include a title or journalling.  I thought the tickets and photos told the story without the need for further information.

DSP/Cardstock: Love Letter DSP, Very Vanilla, Basic Black
Other: 1/4" Very Vanilla Grosgrain ribbon, Two Step Bird XL punch, Flower Ribbon Slide and Raised Dots Designer Label holder (Hodgepodge Hardware)

Catch you later,

Tina
