JAI #226: Just Add A Sketch

Hi!

We've rolled around the calendar to another Friday, so it must be time for another Just Add Ink challenge.  This week Kim has designed a fantastic sketch to inspire us.

As soon as I saw the sketch I thought of my Circle Card Thinlit and decided to use it for my card.

I also decided to use the new and very cool Confetti Celebration DSP.  I really love the bright colours and fab patterns in the pack.

I also used my new Little Letters Thinlits to create the sentiment. I think it looks great with the DSP behind it.  I love how easy it is to place and cut the letters, especially the way you can use the negative sections too.

I mirrored the flag on the front with a second on the back.  Allowing it to hang over the side gives me more space to write my message to the recipient.

It's so hard to photograph flip cards!

I hope you can see the fun potential in this sketch!  See you over at Just Add Ink.

Bye for now,

Tina

  1. The circle flip card is perfect for this Tina. I just love the very trendy modern look you got using the Confetti DSP and linking it in with the punched hexagons.

  2. Your idea to use the Circle Card Thinlits was inspired Tina! It works so well with this sketch! Your banners are great. I like that the front one frames the inside one when you open the card. Very clever!
