JAI #344: Just Add Inspiration

Hi!

Welcome back to our regular Just Add Ink challenges. Did you enjoy our Blog Hop last week? I hope you were able to play along with us.

This week we have an inspiration challenge, suggested by Kim. Doesn't this picture remind you of relaxing somewhere cool on a hot summer day? We are having plenty of those kinds of days here in Australia!

How does the picture inspire you? I decided to go with the water. I started by using the shaving foam technique using Island Indigo, Tempting Turquoise and Pool Party. The backing piece I created was nice, but a bit darker than I'd like. In the end I used my Swirly Scribbles Thinlits to create a wavy look for the card. Perfect!

What do you reckon? Remind you of water? I think so!

My Mixed Drinks stamp set hasn't seen much ink, so it was a great opportunity to get it inky. A nice refreshing drink goes well with relaxing in a cool place on a hot day!

I had a lot of fun making this card for Just Add Ink. I hope you have just as much fun when you join us in the new challenge.

Bye for now,

Tina
