Today I’m excited to bring you a blog hop with some of the awesome ladies in the Art With Heart Stampin’ Up! Team. Today we focus on the new Occasions Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Catalogue and also Sale-a-bration! If you place an order with me during Sale-a-bration, you can choose a free item with every $90 you spend in one transaction. There are lots of fabulous free items to choose from (ask me for a brochure and an Occasions Catalogue) and the promotion goes right through until 31st March.
I have three cards for you today, all using the new Cool Treats Suite of products from the Occasions Catalogue. You can find them on pages 32 and 33.
I created a shaker card first, that uses the Sprinkles Embellishments. They are a super cute assortment of coloured sequins and balls that work beautifully in a shaker card.
I just had to include one of the cherries on the top of the ice cream! The cherry was die cut using the Frozen Treats Framelits, as was the window for the shaker card. The ice cream in the middle of the card is simply the off cut from the window. Nothing goes to waste here!
There is a cute stamp set at the back of the catalogue called Suite Sentiments. It's a group of phrases that are designed to coordinate with each of the suites of products in the Occasions Catalogue. For my second card, I used the sentiments from this set that coordinated with the Cool Treats Suite.
It's so easy to get a multi-coloured sentiment - you just use your Stampin' Write markers! In this case I used my Pear Pizzazz and Watermelon Wonder markers to ink up the stamp.
I did the same for the sentiment in the inside of the card. Can you see the new Tasty Treats Washi too?
I think I kept my favourite card for last! This card uses a mix of the washi, stamps and framelits. One of the things I love best about the photopolymer stamps is that you can bend them. In this case, I've bent the sentiment on the front to fit around the curve of the circular panel. I love the effect!
It's difficult to photograph, but hopefully you can see that I cut the bowl and the spoon from our Silver Foil paper to make it look like an old fashioned sundae bowl. Did you eat out of those as kids? We had long thin ones that were perfect for banana splits!
Well, that's it from me! You're now off to visit the fabulous Judy May.
