Hi!
So sorry for the lack of posts lately - it's school holidays and I have not had a spare second to papercraft during the days and I'm too tired by the time they go to bed. Normally our school holidays are pretty quiet, but not this time! Here's a little taste of just how busy we have been.
Alex celebrated his 10th Birthday. He had a few friends to sleep over.
A trip to the beach. Yes, my crazy children decided to go swimming in April. Needless to say they didn't last long in the water, but still enjoyed building sandcastles. Rob and I chilled on our towels.
Woo Hoo! A night out to see one of my favourite singers. I last saw him in Melbourne 21 years ago! He's looking a bit older, but still rockin'.
We had to take a selfie while waiting for Bryan Adams to start!
Hudson in hospital following a MRI. Don't worry, nothing happened, it was just a routine scan to see if anything has changed in his brain. Funny story (well funny now), I told the nurses he wakes up screaming from a General Anaesthetic but they assured me he would be ok and they could deal with it, I was to wait in the ward for him. An hour later I get an urgent call from the Recovery Ward, would I please come down as he's screaming and we can't settle him. Hmm, what would I know, I'm just his mum.
The big kids had a trip to the comic book shop in the city with Dad. No trip to the city is complete without a photo at the Mall's Balls. (And yes, my husband has succeeded in turning my kids into comic book nerds!)
Thought I'd better include a picture of myself! A lovely day saw us heading off for a game of Mini Golf. Alex, Ada and I all scored a Hole In One (actually I got 2 lol), but Rob won on the day.
The kids had a few play dates. Just after I took this photo I heard "If you don't let go I'll fart." Boys!
Harbour Town had some holiday activities, including these water balls. Ada is in the pink ball and Alex is in the green one. They get filled up with air with the kids inside and then rolled into a pool of water. It was hilarious watching the kids try to stand up and doing all kinds of tumbles. Rob wanted a turn, but I was happy to watch from the sidelines!
Two more days of holidays and then back to school. We've booked in to go bowling on Sunday, so still a little more fun to be had before the holidays are over and we're back to the usual routine.
Bye for now,
Tina
Catching up on blogland. Love your school holiday pics - looks like a busy and fun time. Glad to hear the hospital visit was for a checkup. Hope it went well. Had a good laugh at the quote from the boys. Ha ha.
