JAI #332: Just Add Colour

Hi!

I didn't think I'd be able to play along with this week's Just Add Ink Challenge, but here I am!

Last week I had surgery on my ankle, and I've been stuck in bed ever since. I haven't been able to get up and stamp, but Thursday lunchtime I had the brainwave to use My Digital Studio to create something for the challenge. This, I could do from bed on my laptop!

Patrice picked this gorgeous colour combination for us to use. I really love the addition of Basic Black, as it adds a real touch of drama to a project.

I love this photo of my Nana on a go cart. The smile on her face is so big - she was clearly having the best time! She passed away in July and I miss her so much, but photos like this of of her remind me that she lived a wonderful life, and that makes me happy. The fact that I snuggled up under the blanket she crocheted me while I made this layout also made me happy.

Thanks for stopping by! You can see what the rest of the Design Team made using the colour combo over at the Just Add Ink blog.

Bye for now,

Tina

  1. This is such a lovely photo of your Nana, Tina and I love how you've framed it so beautifully and kept the additions to it paired back. Your sentiment reflects her happy smile so much too. I hope you are feeling better and able to be up and about again soon. xx
