Hi!
I nearly forgot to submit my Just Add Ink Challenge project this week. Oops! School holidays have a way of making the days run away - I nearly always seem to lose track of where we are up to. I guess that's the point of holidays though!
This week it's my challenge at Just Add Ink, and I am challenging you to Just Add M to your projects. It can be anything to do with M - a colour, theme, stamp set, anything! I have incorporated a few M's into my project, as I'm Memory Keeping using the Moments Like These PL Collection, which includes Metallic accents.
Ada, my daughter, won a Jamberry party in a raffle recently, so we held it on Tuesday night. She got to invite several of her friends, and so did I! The girls has a blast applying their wraps and then painting the rest of their nails with polish. Can you imagine how giggly it got with 4 very excited 10 year old girls? It was such a fun night!
Sigh, my title card didn't quite work the way I'd hoped. The circle in the middle has a little heart, but chopping it down the middle has made it look a bit funny. Oh well! The Metallic Gold stickers I used for the title were from the Moments Like These Accessory Kit.
What M's will you use in your project? There's so much you could use! Melon Mambo, Mother's Day, Made With Love stamp set, markers, masking..... the possibilities are endless! See you over at Just Add Ink.
Bye for now,
Tina
What a lovely way to spend mummy/daughter & friend time. They look so cool, l bet the girls loved it! Lovely way to capture the memories Tina and clever use of "M". xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun layout, Tina! Perfect for the 'M' theme! Rochelle xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a great memory to capture Tina! I just bet all the girls (and Mums) had fabulous time playing with colourful nail wraps :) Your little heart still looks good even chopped in half! xxx
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous party idea for 10 year old and slightly older girls :-) Sounds like loads of fun and how lovely that you were able to make a record of the night. Your title page is gorgeous too! xx
ReplyDeleteForget the layout, I LOVE the idea of a mum and daughter Jamberry party! I can imagine just how grown up the ten year olds were feeling - poor adults with the squealing though lol. I can't wait to do something like this with Cara when she's older.
ReplyDeleteI don't think your title turned out all that badly. You can still see it's a heart - perhaps you could punch a larger one out of WW c/s, slice in half and adhere over top of the current smaller one? That may make it stand out the way you would like. Regardless, this is a super fun way to preserve an awesome night with your daughter and friends. xxx
