JAI #264: Just Add A Sketch

Hi!

Are you ready for another Just Add Ink Challenge?

This week Kim has designed a sketch to inspire our creativity.

It's a fabulous sketch and the Design Team have done a great job with it.  I decided to use some of my new Bohemian DSP paired with Perfect Peacock.

I really love the jewel colours in the DSP and thought they worked perfectly with the peacock image.

Just for something different I popped only the stamped circle and left the Bermuda Bay circle flat against the card.  I contemplated putting the Bermuda Bay circle behind the Blacberry Bliss banner, but I don't think it looked as good.

I haven't stamped a sentiment on the inside yet - I'm not sure what I want to put there yet.

I hope you are inspired by Kim's sketch and have time to play along with us at Just Add Ink this week.

Bye for now,

Tina

  1. I love how you spotlighted the peacock Tina - the clean line image works perfectly with the detailed pattern of the DSP - which is just like peacock feathers! xxx

  3. I agree Tina, these colours do work perfectly with the peacock - I think the pattern of the DSP does too. I like how you have overstamped the sentiment and the peacock. Chantell x x

  4. The Peacock looks just as good left 'naked'. Love your colour combo - this particular piece works perfectly as it looks similar to feathers. I'm yet to crack into Bohemian, it kinda scares me being so vibrant and bright. Great card. x

  5. What a beautiful colour combo and just love the patterned paper you used. And is that the peacock stamp with the long tail feathers?? What a great way to use it and get more milege from it. Amazing card!

  6. Great card Tina. How clever of you to use the peacock, as that DSP could have been made for it.
