CTC 389: Annual Catalogue Bundle
It's time once again for the new CASEing The Catty Sunday Challenge Blog Hop. Our challenge works by asking you to CASE different aspects of Stampin' Up!'s catalogues. CASEing is a great way to spark your creativity.
This week we are asking you to CASE a card from the Bundles Section of the Annual Catalogue. In flicking through the section, I discovered that I don't own a single bundle from the catalogue! I'm not quite sure how that happened, so I had to think extra creatively this week.
I ended up choosing this butterfly card from page 161. I really liked the white die cuts layered over the stripes of coloured cardstock. They really pop against the colour.
I recently purchased the Rugged Icons Dies, after my fellow CTCer, Rachel, posted some fabulous masculine cards using them. I thought that this card was a great opportunity to use them. After much debate I went for the mountains die - although I see pyramids every time I look at it! I'm sure they are meant to be mountains, as I don't think there are trees like that around the pyramids.
I layered some Garden Green, Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue cardstock on some copy paper before cropping it with the largest hexagon in the Beautiful Shapes Dies. I applied some Foam Adhesive Sheet to the back of a piece of Whisper White card and cropped it with the Rugged Icons die before adhering it to the hexagon.
I used a second die cut, in Balmy Blue, to decorate the inside. The sentiments are from the stamp set that's in the Light The Candles kit.
That's all from me for now, but we'd love for you to join us in making a card for this challenge. Do you have a favourite bundle from the Annual Catalogue? Or are you like me with no bundle, but a lovely card in the section that has caught your eye to CASE? Just add a photo to our Facebook group when you've made your card.
In the meantime, please do continue your way around our blog hop. The next stop is the lovely Peta Stephen, with a gorgeous Christmas card.
Bye for now,
Tina

Bron's Birthday Blog Hop - July
Hi!
I'm once again blog hoping with a bunch of crafty friends to celebrate Bron Eastley's 60th Birthday. This month, Bron has asked us to CASE a project from the 60's pages of the Annual Catalogue. I only got to page 61 before I found this fun card to CASE.
There was a tiny scrap of DSP left from the front of the card, so I used it on the inside. I also thought that a little more of the WarpSpeed stencil was called for. The sentiment is from the Light The Candles kit.
Another thanks for joining me, but please do continue your way around the Blog Hop tonight. There's lots more inspiration to be found. Just keep hopping around until you get back to the blog where you started. The next hopper tonight is my lovely friend Nikki Spencer.

Colour Creations: Tahitian Tide
Hi!
Here's my Tahitian Tide cards all together. Aren't they a bright, happy bunch?
In case you're interested, here's the whole group of cards. To recap - I've made the same five cards using each of the five new In Colours to create a gift set for someone special. Now I just need to make a box to put them all in!
That's all from for for tonight, but please do continue your way around our blog hop. There's plenty more Tahitian Tide yumminess to be seen, starting off with my lovely friend, Sharon Davern. She's usually got a pretty awesome fancy fold for us.
