Hi!
Yes, it's Friday, and another JAI challenge. This week Trish has put forward a challenge to Just Add Polka Dots to our projects. I needed to make a baby card, and I though the polka dots were a cute touch.
I made this card a little while ago, so it has a mix of old and new products. A sad farewell to the Fox And Friends stamp set, and also the satin ribbon. The colour I have used are two of the gorgeous new In Colours - Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals. Does Raspberry Ripple make you think about a huge ice cream cone? Mmmmm, yum!
I stamped the frame and sentiment in Raspberry Ripple and the turtle in Primrose Petals. They are such lovely, complimentary colours.
Some more retired stamping on the inside! Oops, I should think a bit more when choosing my products for projects!
Stamps: Happy Moments, A Word For You, Fox And Friends (retired), Well Scripted (retired)
Ink: Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals
Cardstock: Primrose Petals, Whisper White
Other: Big Shot, Labels Collections Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Whisper White Satin Ribbon (retired), Basic Jewels Rhinestones, Dimensionals
As usual, I hope you can play along with us this week at Just Add Ink.
Bye for now,
Tina

Fox And Friends Baby Card
Hi!
Today I have a card for you that I made as a sample for a couple of workshops I did in May. I based it on this card that I found while browsing SplitCoast Stampers.
I loved that this card was very cute, and also gender neutral. It would be an easy card to make a few of and have on hand. Alternatively it would be easy to switch the ribbon and card base for blue or pink to make it more gender specific - if you go for the stereotyped colours!
I love the monkey stamp in the set, so I couldn't resist adding him to the inside of the card!
Stamps: Fox And Friends, A Word For You
Ink: Pretty In Pink, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Bashful Blue
Cardstock: Pretty In Pink, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Other: Certainly Celery Twill Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals

A Very Cute CASE
Hi!
In the papercraft world CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything. I love that papercrafters are so willing to share their wonderful creations - there are so many blogs out there with inspirational creations! Today's card is a CASE of a card I found one night while blog surfing and I was so inspired by the card I made two. One was for Hudson's birthday and the second was for one of Hudson's little friends who was also celebrating a birthday. You can see the original card over at Add Ink and Stamp.
Here is the card I made for Hudson:
A different angle!

Fox and Friends Cheerful Card
Hi!
Have you bought all you wanted from the retired list? I certainly hope so! Today's card only has a small piece of retiring product. Can you see what it is?
Catch you later,

Hmmm, some of those panels look a little crooked - they aren't in real life! So did you see the retiring product? It's not the Fox and Friends stamp set (yay!). It's the sentiment, which is from the Great Friend stamp set. Isn't this a great little card to pop in with a little boy's birthday present? Or change the colours to Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry and you could use the same card for a little girl. Too cute!
Stamps: Fox and Friends, Great Friend (retiring)
Ink: Pacific Point

If you leave a comment on each and every blog and then email Nikki at nikki@inkyart.com.au, your name will be put into the hat to win some beautiful blog candy. There is a deadline of 72 hours to leave your comments and only non SU demos are eligible to win the candy - although we'd love all visitors to leave some comments please.
For our third tour we decided upon an Autumn- Winter Mini Catalogue theme. You'll be able to see some great ideas from the new mini catalogue available from tomorrow. At the end of each post there will be a link to take you to the next stop on the tour. It would be fantastic if you could leave a comment on each blog! So grab a cuppa, and set off on what we are hoping will be an inspirational journey!
My favourite stamp set from the new catalogue is Fox and Friends. It's a great animal set perfect for children's cards and projects. I've made a gift tag set and matching purse.

I've made the set using the NEW In Colour Melon Mambo. It's a lovely hot pink colour that works really well with neutrals. You could just as easily make a matching set for a boy by swapping the Melon Mambo for Pacific Point.

I've kept each tag the same except for the stamped image. They also coordinate with the box and would make a lovely gift for someone special.

Cardstock: Melon Mambo (new), Kraft, Very Vanilla
Stamp Set: Fox and Friends (new)
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Other: Melon Mambo 1/2" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (new), Chocolate Chip 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Circle Punch, Paper Crimper, Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Circle Cutter, Sticky Strip
Well, that’s all from me. Now you’re off to enjoy the beautiful creations of Kathryn Lowe.

Classic Stars Birthday Card
Hi!
We are off to a birthday party today for a very special little boy who is turning 1. Isaac goes to a playgroup with my son, run by a wonderful organisation that helps special children reach their potential.
Here is the card I made for him:

I wanted to use a bit of symbolism in this card. I used stars to remind Isaac that he can reach for the stars, and the lion to give him the courage to do so. The symbolism is probably a bit lost on a 1 year old, but it's there anyway.
Card Stock: Pacific Point, Real Red, Whisper White
Stamps: Fox and Friends (new), Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel
Ink: Versamark, Ruby Red
Other: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Die, Dimensionals
Catch you later - we're off to party like a 1 year old!
