Hi!
Hooray, It's time for the new Colour Creations Blog Hop. This week we are playing with Just Jade, which is one of the 2020-22 In Colours. It's a lovely green, and it's one that I quite like.
I was once again a bit time poor this week, so I googled Just Jade cards for inspiration, and decided to CASE one I found that was made by Kayla Renee, of Stampin With Kayla. Her card was very pretty, and quite simple, so it was definitely a winner for me!
I pretty much only changed the sentiment part of the card, by using the Black Glittered Organdy ribbon, Sweet Strawberry and the Tasteful Labels Dies. The Matte Black Dots and Just Jade Enamel Dot were another addition on my version.
That's all from me for tonight, but there's still plenty of inspiration left to be seen! Please continue your way around our Blog Hop by jumping on over to the lovely Caroline Manwaring's blog. She always has something delightful to see!
As always, our fabulous host is Catherine Proctor. If something goes awry, please head on over to her blog where you'll find a complete list of all Hoppers. You can pick up your trail there!
Bye for now,
Tina
Very elegant card Tina, the black really pops with Just Jade.
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Tina! I love these dies because when you are in a hurry they do all the hard work for you. the addition of the he Black Glittered Organdy ribbon behind the sentiment adds a lovely contrast of texture and colour.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card Tina and great use of Just Jade in the background to the Basic White floral die cut. I love the addition of the black embellishments too.
ReplyDeleteThe Just Jade embossed background is beautiful, and a lovely backdrop to the beautiful floral die cut, Tina.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to die cut the vellum layer, for a softer effect over the embossed background for texture. The black ribbon and dots are a lovely addition too.
ReplyDeleteLovely card Tina, the Black ribbon looks a little like feathers when I first saw it and I think the black dot go perfectly.
ReplyDeleteJust Jade looks so good with Black and White and I love the addition of the embossed background as it adds some more depth to your card.
ReplyDeleteI love the dramatic but elegant touches of black with Just Jade, Tina. I love the white overlay on vellum too.
ReplyDeleteTina this is one of the nicest cards I have seen using this set of dies. Very clever to use the vellum. It works so well over the embossed background and I love the little bunch of black ribbon caught behind your greeting.
