Welcome, once again, to another week of The Heart of Christmas with the Art With Heart team.
This week, I'm hosting the blog share again. I had so much fun last time that when Claire asked for a volunteer, my hand shot up. Let's get into it, shall we?
This week I decided to make a set of four cards. I had stamped one of the images from Merry Little Labels a few months ago when I had a team stamping day, but I had yet to get around to turning them into a card. This week was the week! I'd stamped the image in four different colours, so each card features the colour.
This first one was stamped with Berry Burst. I backed it with some coordinating ribbon, a silver Foil Snowflake (why have I waited so long to use these?!?), and some Merry Music SDSP.
The second card was stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I decided to keep each of the cards similar, but ran into a small snag - I don't have any current Cherry Cobbler ribbon, so I had to use some Black Thread. It's hard to see, but it's placed in messy loops behind the label, and on top of the gold Foil Snowflake.
The third card features Garden Green with a sliver Foil Snowflake. I love that you get both gold and silver in the pack. I'm definitely a silver girl, but there are times when only gold will do!
Finally we have Night Of Navy on the fourth card. Here I hit another snag - all I heard in my head was 'black and blue look like a bruise'. I've NEVER been able to mix black and navy, so I had to go for some of the Whisper White Merry Music SDSP. It gives a different look, but just as pretty, I think.
Here's the four cards together. Apologies for the terrible photo - it was the best I could do to get them all together.
Here's the links to the rest of the Art With Heart team participating today. I don't know about you, but I think the cards get better and better each week.

Bye for now,
Tina
I love the collection of cards you made. I love how the gold snowflake pops on the backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteTina, all four of your cards are simply gorgeous! I just love how any colour works beautifully with this design, I am favouring the Night of Navy one, but I'm loving the Cherry Cobbler too, oh and the Garden Green one, and the Berry Burst one - I love them all! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, Tina. Love how you've used the one stamp/punch with the different colours to make a lovely set of cards.
