JAI #483: Just Choose Two

Hi!

Yay for Friday and the end of the week. Have you been staying cool here in Australia? Adelaide had an awful day on Wednesday, but thankfully only one day before the temps dropped again. It's won't be long before they are high regularly though! Hopefully my air conditioner is fixed before that happens!

This week at Just Add Ink, Di has challenged us to add two to our cards - you can choose stars, spots or sparkles, as long as you choose at least two of them. I chose spots and sparkles.

You probably don't recognise this stamps, and that's because they are new ones! I was invited by Stampin' Up! to present a new stamp set at the recent OnStage event in Sydney, and I received the gorgeous Beautiful Moments, designed by NZ Demo, Jacque Williams. The flowers and butterflies are three of the 'minor' images in the set, and the sentiment is from it also. You'll be seeing a lot more of it on my blog in the future!

I stamped the flower repeatedly across the cardstock, and then added a few of each of the two butterflies in the set. They were coloured using my Dark Mint Macaron, Dark Highland Heather, and Light Pumpkin Pie Blends. I used a piece of some old SAB Glimmer Paper in Mint Macaron to frame the flowers and butterflies.

I repeated the stamping and colouring on the inside, except that I varied the heights of the flower stamp. The less uniform stamping makes it look more natural, don't you think?

That's all from me for now, why not pop on over to the Just Add Ink blog, where you can see the rest of this week's Design team cards. Which two (or three!) will you choose for our challenge - stars, spots or sparkles?

Bye for now,

Tina
