Just Add Ink #126: Just Add A Sketch

Hi!

Yes, it's Friday again!

Time for another Just Add Ink challenge.  This time the lovely Mae has designed a sketch for us.

I was a bit lateral with my interpretation of the shapes in the sketch, but I think I was still quite true to the original.

I love how the Cheerful Treat hostess DSP provides a bright, happy background to the flowers.  I love the Field Flowers stamp set and I think it worked really well on this card.

I just had to use some more on the inside of the card to brighten it up.  I sent the card to my Aunt and Uncle as a Thank You for all the hard work they put into organising my Grandma's 100th birthday recently.

I hope you can play along this week with us at Just Add Ink.

Stamps: Field Flowers, Curly Cute
Ink: Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo
DSP/Cardstock: Cheerful Treat DSP (hostess), Concord Crush, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White
Other: Big Shot, Labels Framelits Dies, Scallop Border Punch, Corner Rounder Punch, Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon, Basic Jewels Rhinestones, Paper Snips, Dimensionals

Bye for now,

Tina

  1. Tina I like the bright cheery feel this card puts out and I think it is good to show that the sketches can be used laterally as well as literally! Great card.

  7. Simply gorgeous Tina! Love that your card isn't a square card as the framelits fit so much better on this size.
